Hello all. I just got issued a new (to me) truck that is spec'd out with the 600hp/2050ft. lb ISX engine, & several co-workers including the guy who used to drive it are telling me it's been turned down to a lower power rating. My dispatcher/manager said he has no knowledge of that ever happening to the rig.
Is there any way to tell for sure without going to the dealer or using something like Cummins Insite?
Truck in question is a 2017 Peterbilt 567
The badge on top of the engine does say 600hp/2050 torque
Under truck info/engine on the dash, it says "Engine Model 2013 ISX3" & Eng Software Vers: 09400153
Thanks in advance for any help or clarification on this!
Possible to tell if a Cummins ISX has been detuned (via software)?

No way to tell without hooking a computer to it

You won’t be able to tell
My Detroit is factory 515hp
I hooked it up at diesel doctors he said it’s been detuned by A LOT! By previous company it showed date and time by American transport mechanics. It was 435hp 1550tq i hated it
Now it’s a 550 with 2150 and actually enjoy driving it.
But it’s not your truck so I guess just note the bullet and drive it how it is.
I’m guessing they turned yours down to like a safe 475 and 1650-1750 -

Thanks for the responses.
I unfortunately do not have access to Insite, & taking it to the dealer won't really be an option since the truck doesn't belong to me.. It seems to run pretty strong though so if it is turned down, it must not be all too much.
I was previously driving a 1997 Peterbilt with a 550hp Cummins, & I think this 567 may outrun that rig.
Was hoping maybe the engine software version would indicate the current power level, but I've searched all over the net & cannot find anything referencing those #s at all.
