    Bought an ‘89 Barrett pot and would like to find the whole porch light assembly. Trailer hasn’t been used in several years cause it’s owner passed away and his family took the porch light off and has it rigged up on the front porch of their house. They mentioned putting it back after I bought it but I insisted they keep it and it looks all business. I don’t have to have it, I realize but I’d like to replace it and Barrett shows nothing about them on their site. As I said, I need the the whole light assembly, box, bezel, whatever it’s called. It’s a slat side trailer with a bull nose.

    @wore out @Catmando
    You may have to make something,if you can’t find one sitting in a field.

    Barrett trailer company Purcell Oklahoma.

    It’s a marquee sign with a name card. That whole porch light deal burns my asx. A porch light hangs under the center of your visor. Back in the day each region or group sorta ran a different color. You could tell where a chicken hauler was from by what color they ran.

    Way back before everyone started running color back there, hookup lights were known as porch lights

    I’ll give’em a ring on Monday. I’ve bought two old pots this past month. The other is a Wilson, slat side that was used for hauling hogs from Illinois to KC. It’s in good shape but needs rewired, brakes and tires. The marquee light on it is un accessible from the inside, so I’m guessing the rubber trim gasket needs removed from the outside. The only thing on the outside where the card would be is an aluminum plate there. It has 3 lights and wire going to them from the inside of the trailer but can only be accessed from the outside, I guess. They must have never had a light up card, with the aluminum plate on the outside?

    Oxbow and Coffey Thank this.

    Wilson uses a windshield type seal that’s a ##### to get in. The older trailers used 3 1156 bulbs inside the fixture I put a rope led in them just because it’s less draw better light etc. Barrett uses a Huck on box that the card slides in and out from the sides at least that’s the way my last 2 have been.

    That windshield seal is gonna put up a fight. It’s nearly as hard as the aluminum. I need about 4 latches as well so maybe they can be of some help when I call them.
