Did you resolve the problem? I am wondering if chaffing of wires on your Power train controller area network (PT-CAN) would be causing that. I would think that electrical harness that feeds the powers , grounds and CAN lines to transmission might be chaffing. I would be looking along left side of transmission for chaffing and also around the harness brackets between the fuel module in front of or near air compressor. I have found a mirror with a telescoping handle is helpful with inspecting where the harness wraps around the top at the left of transmission. Curious if you were getting CAN communication faults.

According to freightliner the issue was a bad pt-can harness. Oh yeah $1700 labor, $113 parts :eek::eek:
