plastic surge tank cooling system pressure check adapter need part #

    Hey guys I'm on here all the time and need to see if anyone can help me out.I loaned a pressure tester adapter out to another mechanic at my shop and the guy split with it.snap on matco and the other schmucks have no clue what I'm talking about.maybe one of my fellow mechanics on here have it and can get me a part#.I'm looking for the adapter for the plastic surge tank that sits on top of the radiator on newer 379,389 and t660,600,900 and such any help is much appreciated guys thanks.

    I bought a genuine cap drilled a hole and tapped a 1/8 thread in it to fit my normal pressure test pump. Easy as and works well

    I use a hose on the other cap with nipple with regulator ballvalve and gauge.

    its the same 1 for newer gm cars, i believe it is a 36mm adaptor, tab10036 is bluepoint #, ta32a is snapon #, dont have my matco book handy, but a real tool man should have known what you were talking about, I got a matco man that you can describe something to and he will rattle off the part #. hope this helps.
