So the title is about two headsets i see at the truckstops for sale.
I want to know if anyone has any experience with either one or both.
I personally like both of them and its hard to choose. The plantronics is a little cheaper, looks really nice and comfortable.
The b450 looks awesome and has a great battery life.
The ear piece looks more friendly as i can use it more places and put it away more easily.
While the headset looks a bit big and would limit me to only use during driving truck.
I would go with the one that offers the most, but im wondering if there is any thing significant that would make me choose one over the other?

I use the voyager and its the only headset i like. People can hear me clearly and i dont look like Britney Spears, witch is what you will look like with the b450. Lol.
Im sure either one will work great just dont like the bulky ness of the full on headsets. Nothing like looking like a air traffic control personal while driving your big rig there billy. -
I have that voyager, and I hate it. First, Plantronics DO have the best noise cancelling, but that's where the advantage ends. 1) The battery lasts only 6 hours, and that's combination of use and standby. 2) They don't charge well, although the 5200 is better than the pro. 3) They have absolutely no usable range. You leave your phone in the truck, walking around the hood can be a challenge.
I have the 5200 now, and have had bother the edge and pro. If you decide on getting a Plantronics, get the edge. It was the most comfortable, and the mic is closest to your mouth for best reception. -
I have had the Voyager Legend for over a year. I bought a 5200 but took it back. The charging cord for the 5200 is a micro usb that takes two hands to plug in. The charging cord for the Legend is magnetic, so you can hook it up with one hand while going down the road if needed. Legend works good around the front of truck, starts breaking up towards the tail of a 53' trailer.

I have the 5200 and have no complaints. Best noise canceling out there and I prefer the micro usb because you never have to look far for a charger. Light and comfortable.

I have came to this exact same conclusion myself. I have had the plantronics legend , & now voyager 5200, The blueparrott b350 and thinking about getting the b450-xt. My thing is I love how the 5200 is in the ear, have 4 microphones, with 6 layers of windsmart tech. It really shows, i drive a tractor trailer 10-12 hours a day and I sound like im in a quiet office with the 5200.. Best noise cancelling i have ever owned.. My only thing about it is the talk time. its rated for 7 hours but after the first charge, itll only go up to a max of 6 - 6 1/2 hours. Its also rated for 98 feet but I would be towards the back of the trailer and it would start having tons of static and disconnect until i get back closer to the phone. Overall if you dont mind the battery life, its a great buy.
Bean Jr. Thanks this.
