I’m looking for a good place to park for home time as well. I live near the airport but can’t pay $36 a day. It might even be more I forget.

Avoid exit 54 Millers Run rd.on I-79 in Bridgeville. Locals work the area. DOT certified Morons. Looking for some easy revenue. The Courts are in on the scam.

Pittsburgh Mills mall exit 12 on PA-28. The mall is mostly closed so there's lots of empty parking lots along with many restaurants and a Walmart. 12 miles north of Pittsburgh

It’s been a while for me, but I believe there’s a decent stop in 84 PA just east of Washington on 70. That’s not terribly far from Pittsburgh, under an hour.

Ah, good ol' Pittsburgh...always fun trying to navigate a 70-something-foot long vehicle thru that place :D

I hope I'm not too late on this, but...Harmarville is right next door to Cheswick. There's a Hampton Inn & Suites right on Freeport Road, right off the exit from 28; it sits back off the road, though. NOt that long ago they built another hotel right in front of it. Anyway, from 28 eastbound get off at the Harmarville exit (for 910), and make a right off the ramp, and then left onto Freeport. Not even a good quarter mile up on your left you'll see the new hotel first. There's no left turning lane there; you'll need to get in the left lane immediately after turning onto Freeport. You'll pass Alpha Dr, and then immediately after that you'll see a Dennys and then a Burger King. Turn left just past that Burger King between it and the newer hotel (I want to say it's a HomePlace Suites or something), and head straight for the back. There's an old parking lot back there next to the Hampton Inn that trucks can park in. I don't think Hampton has any signs back there, but check first. If not, leave your truck back there; I highly doubt anyone will bother it.

Another little hidey hole is further up Freeport...there's a Holiday Inn pretty much right by the Hampton. To get to it, make the left just past the Sheetz on the corner onto Alpha Dr (Alpha Dr is a 3/4 loop), then the first right behind the McDonalds. The road dead-ends into a decent-sizd cul-de-sac; if you can get your trailer spin around, park it right there on the street in front of the Holiday Inn. You should be alright back there, too...most of that back there is industrial, a satellite of RIDC North.

You are the only person I've heard/seen refer to Grenetree as a "small town" :biggrin_2559: Most just consider it as part of Pittsburgh proper. And yes, there's a huge [most of the time empty] parking lot back behind that Hilton. Greentree may be a bit too far out from Cheswick for a 34, though.
