Just curious if any of you have had the Diesel Force Engine Maintenance and EGR Cleaning done by Pittsburgh Power? I believe I've seen somewhere that another company up in Michigan does something similar.
Its supposed to flush out all the soot buildup on EGR, Intake, Engine Internals, Turbo, and Exhaust.
Cost is $1625 plus you need oil change afterwards. Anyone who was watched Rawzes "EGR Tuneup" videos on YouTube this method seems similar without taking a bunch of stuff off the truck and doing it manually.
Those of you who have had it done, how has your truck performed since? Below are pictures taken off Pittsburgh Powers website of before and after... Definitely appears to do a good job.![]()

Rawze also notes when he has the intake manifold off someone's truck to not disturb the soot inside. The channel ways are large enough it doesn't make much difference. But if you chip some of the hardened soot off and it gets stuck under a valve you can have big problems.
I will do it manually.JonJon78 and Shock Therapy Thank this. -
I had it done, also got the dorthy soot collector put on and an overhead done and the 600 tune. So far running good, I bought a 2015 680 with an ISX in January and took it there first thing and had it done so I can't give a comparison to what it's like beforehand.
JonJon78 Thanks this. -
