I keep missing a few loads that require pipe stakes.

Do pipe stakes need to have DOT approval or can I go to a metal supply store and buy some c-channel or square tubing?

    Or maybe 2x4s? :biggrin_25523:

*edit* How long should they be?

Easiest way to make pipe stakes is to go buy some channel iron or rectangle tubing if thats what you want and weld some bar stock on them for stops and you have stakes easy.

I've only used mine leaving Houston TX. Not really sure why I need them at all. If that pipe goes to rolling them baby stakes ain't gonna stop em.
