Pilot offers 85 truck parking spots at new travel center in Tyler, TX

that's a good deal. I run the i-20 corridor alot between augusta and dallas and since tyler is about 2 hrs from my house I can stop there outbound or inbound

 

It will be full in the first 30 minutes and trucks will circle the lot for the next 30 years looking for a place to park or wait on someone to move off the fuel island.D### a Pilot.

 

ya 85 spots,,,, 80 of them most liklely going to Idle Air, leaving 5 spots for non idle air.

 

No idle air on lots that small,the place has been open for nearly a month now.
The store was selling fuel and Cat* services before the MD's was ever finished.

Pilot is fixing to open another new one in Alabama at exit 165 on I 20 with in the next few weeks too...but there are 3 mom and pop truckstops at that exit also so I think most will still use them...

While I wish we had more mom and pop places, Pilot seems to have a way with making them disappear.

 

Its a "Golden Screwdriver"hack shop,stop in for a look sometime.
