I have a 2008 Peterbilt 389 with 12k front leaf suspension (low air leaf)
I want to convert to a front air suspension so I put a engineering request in at my local dealer and they gave me a list of every part needed to do the swap. Parts come to around $7500 CDN.
I wanted to know what other options are out there. I know 12 guage offers one, someone mentioned another guy who does it in another one of my threads but I wanted to see if there's any others?
And the big question...... most of the others are designed so you can slam your truck to the ground for show purposes which is not what I want, I want ride quality! How do these aftermarkets compare? Or are they more for show?
Peterbilt Front Air Options?

Only Kit id use is the air ride by horse. Think its around 2500 if i remember correctly.

Do you have any experience with this kit? Have you compared the ride to oem air ride or just swapped from spring suspension?
-
I have a couple buddies who have the horse kit. One on a 379 and other on a w9. They said the 12gauge kit is junk compared to the kit i mentioned. You still keep a single leaf spring on the horse kit.

I messaged them on Facebook. The only pics I find are of slammed to the ground trucks, I can't find any of the actual suspension. Waiting to hear back.
