got an ac question. I changed the compressor, it now cycles on and off every 3 seconds and it wasn't doing this before.. ..
The engine clutch fan doesn't come on due to air leak in the hub assy its self. Im not heavily familiar with heavy trucks but I know that the condenser needs air flow for the ac system to properly cool. I know the clutch fan normally comes on automatically by engine temp or manually by selecting the toggle switch on the dash. How exactly does this system work to provide air flow thru the condenser if the trucks just idling and the ac is on?
Does the clutch fan normally kick on when you turn on the ac?
My ac pressures are normal and are equalizing when I turn the ac off so theres no plug...
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Fan usually comes on when AC is on. I would double check your pressures and specs because I suspect the pressure on the high side might be too high due to fan not coming on and tripping the high pressure cut out.

Yes the fan clutch light comes on with just a Key on with a full tank of air the clutch By right should suck in an engage but does not and doesn't engage while driving either

I was told i had to change the fan clutch before it damages other components. I had some help on this one since my mechanic gets a good price on parts and hes not that expensive . He checked a small valve too that xontrols the air going to the fan clutch. You can check that first.

BigRik Thanks this.

I see two pressure switches, one on the driver side of the radiator on the top on a line that goes into the condenser and another passenger engine compartment firewall
