My boss has a 95 and a 96 model that he swapped the doors with the 06/07 style. Had to swap mirrors as well. As far as I know the doors bolted right on. For the interior I don’t know

I'm sure there would be small differences from 379 to 389. Door handle placement is the first that comes to mind. Gotta be plenty of wrecked 379s to find interior from
Roger McG and maconhadalata Thank this. -

The cabs on 377,378,379,386,389 and probably a couple more are all basically the same. Over the years there have been some minor changes, but not much. Newer trucks tend to be "cheaper" made. You've got the Ultra cab stayed in 96 and standard flat top cab since 1988. They moved the mirrors in the second half of 04 and changed the door handles to the cheaper plastic. Added electric locks and windows to the door arm rest in the early 2000s, like 05 I think. All that said, an inheritors door panel from a 38X will work on 37X as long as you have the same style doors (with mirrors or without) same with overhead panels, storage, sleeper, ect ect. Yours being a 2002 is like my 2001 so it has the "older" style doors with the mirror. You might try Vander Haags, but they're expensive. Truk-n-awesome makes custom for about what 4 state sells OEM for.
I forgot to say there are small differences in how some things attach. ie, the old door panels had visible screws all the way around the edges. The new ones don't. So you'd have to do some minor modifications
Side note, do you happen to know where I can get a glove box door for my 2001? Frigging elusive part.Last edited: Feb 3, 2022
