Just wondering if anybody out here owns or has driven a Pete 567, it's a 579 with a different hood but it sits higher like a vocational truck. Wondering if it has a good ride. If it sits higher I would think it has a different front axle setup, no dropped axle? Pete came out with a Heritage Model 567. Looks good.

Saw a video ad for one on Youtube. He says it's a 579 with a redesigned 387 style hood. He said pretty much what you posted. A mix between a vocational and road truck. Kinda' looks like a similar mix when Volvo made the 880 or with KW's T800.

i mean if our drivers (if/when we get drivers) are into it, i would consider it. i don't dig the flush headlights, but i'm sure they can be converted back to regular?

Out of curiosity I googled 567 Pete. I saw lots of brand new 567's in the $200,000 price range. Most of them looked like vocational chasis without even a dump, garbage or whatever body on them. Are people really paying $200,000 for new trucks these days? It just looks like any other typical aero plastic truck with an overly complex unnecessary emissions system to me.
People say spec'ing a glider is a wash or even higher than buying new but I think I could easily spec a loaded up glider for under $175,000 no problem. You can get some nice ones with cookie cutter specs for $150,000 or less. Not meaning to derail the thread but it just boggles the mind how badly inflation, and government emmisions regulations, are really kicking everyone in the nuts so hard. I mean 15 years ago you could get a really nice truck for $125,000 or so. They've almost doubled in price in such a short time frame. What is wrong with that picture? -
