2020 Pete long hood 389. Vibrated from the get go. Finally saw a possible reason. Rear drive line is not aligned u-joint wise ... not timed.
In the past I have driven older trucks and experienced vibration because the drive line was installed with the joint not timed ... she had a real vibration till they were aligned properly.
Dealer tells me these new trucks have the drive line about 40 degree off for longer u-joint life.
Anybody out there experienced this. Or heard of this?

Dealer is probably correct... according to this thread: Phasing driveshaft

Interesting. I noticed that looking underneath the truck the other day. I’m glad you posted this because now I feel like it is fine.

The driveline angles were off.
Dealer didn't mention anything to me about the 40 degree deal you're talking about though....
Mine was in the shop for 2 days, haven't had any problems since...137k miles now.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I guess I have not gotten used to being the R&D dept. Seems like WE should be getting paid.
I have determined that I will "drive it like I stole it".
I had my carrier bearing on the front drive line fail at around 30K miles. Sure glad nobody told me what a pain breaking these trucks in would be.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.
