I'm going to be replacing the cam in my 379 short hood once the weather warms up around here. I ran the overhead and saw that my cam is starting to flake and is already scoring the rollers on my rocker arms. My question is would 2 people be able to remove the radiator from the truck? I don't have access to a machine and want to be sure that this would be possible. I have no idea how much that thing weighs, I plan on removing the CAC so it would just be the rad by itself. Thanks in advance for any help

Heavy and awkward, but doable. If you have a stack of pallets (or anything high enough and strong enough to hold the hood), it's not that hard for 2 people to take the whole hood off. You have to take the springs and cables off the radiator anyway, unplug the headlights and 2 hinge bolts, then you can slide the hood onto the pallets. It'll make the radiator easier to get out and give you more room to work.

Cherry picker works swell if you can barrow one. Harbor freight to be had on the cheap. No need to remove the hood just prop it up to take off off the cables and springs. Leave the whole package together, rad, cac and condensor and lift it out as one.

If you do not have access to a A/c machine just cover the condenser in cardboard to protect it and swing it off to the side. If you aren't feeling strong, pull the air to air first then pull the rad. Not too heavy but awkward.

On Pete if you are pulling the hood easiest to take bumper off too.
