I'm passing your question on to someone who just went through this with her husbands company. Hopefully she can give you some answers.

If he is leasing the truck from the company, then he will have to provide this himself, and OOIDA is the best place to be shopping for it. It is possible to purchase it while leasing from a company. And if he is leasing the truck, then I do not understand why you are having to hide when you are in it.
Most companies buy passenger accident insurance as an addendum to their standard liability policy, if they are going to buy it. It's usually a combined policy.
I do highly recommend he have an accident policy in effect before you go out with him again.Luis Thanks this. -

well bad news he says hes not going for it but the apu finance hes good for it which means more comfort thanks guys

I'm sorry to hear that. But the APU's are so needed nowdays, so I can see his point of view.

OK, as I understand this, I believe he will need his Leased Carrier's Authorization to carry any passengers anyway. Most carrier's will allow you to purchase the insurance from them too. If it is cheaper and equal or better insurance through OOIDA, then you should go that way. Remember, even if you have your own insurance, you MUST have the carrier's authority to have passengers on board.
GuysLady Thanks this. -
Thank you Torqued! I forgot to add that. Your input there is very valuable information!

Your welcome GuysLady. We are all trying to make sense of these regulations. You earlier input was very informative too.
