    I need to pass the 3 of the 5 tests in TX. I need G. Knowledge, Pretrip, and Airbrakes. I have the handbook but I was wondering which part of it covers the general knowledge and pretrip? I ask because the Airbrakes portion that I need is very clearly sectioned off in Chapter 5 and I've read it already.

    Not sure which part is G. Knowledge and Pretrip tho. I'm betting it's at least all of the big Chapter 2 right?

    When you log into THETRUCKERSREPORT dot COMmercial at the top of the screen it should give you sections to go into:

    New Posts
    CDL Practice Tests
    Trucking Jobs
    Schools

    Click on CDL Practice Tests then click on General Knowledge Tests
    Just look up the in the DMV manual the answer to the General Knowledge Test questions

    Sections 1, 2 and 3 are General Knowledge. Be aware that the same GK test is used for a Class A, B, or C license, the test does not know what type of vehicle you intend to drive. Good luck.
