If you're going to do this, park on the ramp GETTING ON the freeway. The speed of the passing traffic will be lower. -

Hey that's where I park when I used to deliver in Maspeth. Anyway, Trucks been parking there since 1993. 24 years of trucks getting hit by drunk drivers, nothing will change.
