This idiot parked on the ramp COMING OFF the freeway. That's dangerous.

If you're going to do this, park on the ramp GETTING ON the freeway. The speed of the passing traffic will be lower.

I’ve been living here since 1993 and trucks have been parking there the whole time,” said Kim Ronzo, 42, who works in banking. “Trucks have rest stops. They shouldn’t be stopping there when it’s a busy exit.

Well for someone who works in banking she sure knows more than most truck drivers. Maybe she can tell the rest of us drivers where all these empty parking spaces are at all these rest areas in NYC.

Hey that's where I park when I used to deliver in Maspeth. Anyway, Trucks been parking there since 1993. 24 years of trucks getting hit by drunk drivers, nothing will change.

The goon is talking about rest area/service areas in NJ. That's the typical burrow dweller for ya, always giving the wrong information or misleading information. If you ever get lost in the burrows, godforbid don't make the wrong turn into Manhattan, then look for the guys with the safety vests. Pay them $20 and they will guide you out of there :p

I doubt it, most ramp parkers park on a ramp a few hours and then hammer down until they can barely stay awake and then grab a quick nap on another ramp.

Legal and eloggers who will be parked for 10 plus hours will plan ahead and park in a place with food and toliet facilities (or a place with food and toilets and with a paved paking lot to pee all over)

I'm partly against elogs as it will make my finding a spot a LOT HARDER, but I do enjoy the fear others on here have at the ideal of logging legal.

Most anywhere else, but run out Long Island, after spending hours in traffic, then held at a shipper or receiver you could burn through 14 hours. With no parking out there, what choice will an e-logger have? Park illegally or drive illegally?
