So, my current load is taking me 90 miles from Louisville this weekend, so I'm going to the Kentucky derby. Problem is, googling truck stops comes up empty for Louisville. Does anyone know of one or a decent place to park in the area? The closer to Churchill Downs the better.

truckstops, to the south on 65, up i71, north on 65. but as for anything else in closer for the derby that's a longshot. however if you were leased to mercer like me, we have tons of parking in downtown Louisville no less

You may be better off finding a motel that has truck parking and just renting a room for the derby.

Truckstops close to Louisville are the Pilot across the river in Jeffersonville, KY. There's another Pilot east of Louisville in I believe Shelbyville? Westbound across the river into IN and southbound at the first exit (New Albany, IN 111) about 8 miles or so will take you to a casino with truck parking. Then there are more truckstops south of town on I-65 in Shepherdsville which I would think is your best bet. There will be 50,000 people and it will be a mad house.

Yes sir, a total mad house full of fun! Shepardsville was the closest I could find. Hoping someone here knows of a secret place lol.

    I do but I can't share that! :)

I don't know if it will work but you could try calling this place just west of the track. They have RV and Bus parking. They also have a big truck lot.

    Fairgrounds.

You can buy a parking pass for $50 and park there whenever the hell you want for a year.

Theater x in Clarksville Indiana is nice and close if you don't wanna pay. Lots of places to stop and eat aswell.

Depends on what time you are delivering.
