Paper logbook app!!

Motive (formerly Keep Trucking). It’s the easiest I’ve found and free.

 

Falls off chair laughing. Really?? an app to do paper logs??? Kinda defeats the whole paper log advantage.

 

Yes, I used to use Big Road app years ago for paper logs. It made rewriting history a breeze

 

I'm still using Eclipse logbook software on my laptop, but it's pretty slow to load (like 10 minutes to open literally). It works well for the most part once you get it open though.

 

Not really. It's not linked to the ECM and way more efficient. Instead of wasting 10-15 minutes or more scribbling on paper you can fill out a log on your laptop or in an app in under a minute. Easier to keep current too.

 

Its for drivers that don't know how to correctly fill out a log book ..

Somebody must be a special kind of stupid if it takes them that long .
All I know is that has zero benefit or is of any value to me

 

Yeah it takes a while to catch one up scribbling in it when you've been off for the weekend. Drawing neat lines with a ruler and manually putting in recap numbers takes a little time you have to admit? Probably not that much during the week but it's still a time suck. I can be done logging in a half minute or less on my laptop and don't have to write anything. Less paper is better. If you ever did it on a laptop or app you'd never go back to paper again.
