    Don't lease any truck to these people.

    Lease Operator (Former Employee) – Medina, OH – March 2, 2017
    I am a lease operator been here for a year. First month they ran me just to show me I can make money. Well I sit here now I been negative since the 18th of November 2016. It is now the 3 of March four months no settlement Got no money no food Bank accounts drained. Negative evey month since may of 2016. I asked for a food advance they gave me a hundred dollars to go 2 weeks. The next time they told me I don't have to advance you nothing. They don't care about you only to rip you off on rates and then waist your time by sitting 3 to 4 days a week. If you even start your clock to deliver you won't get a load that day. They have a app you supposed to use as a tool for load decisions. It is worthless they don't go by it when assigning loads to trucks so you can be number 1 on the board sitting with a full clock and they won't even call you just let you sit. They will deny back hauls cause your in a prime area. Everything is your fault never there's. So there right I was wrong to stay working there so my fault. Don't go to lease there cause 50% of there lease owners don't get paychecks on weekly basis. Now if your a fleet owner well you might be OK with all the special access to loads out here lease operators don't have. If you work here find a fleet owner you will never sit. Quality was going to repo my truck cause they didn't receive payment so you decide but I will get on every site I can find to tell my story about this sorry company. They have no respect for drivers and the leadership creates a environment of hostility towards drivers that is displayed on day one from the orientation instructor his name is mike. They violate there agreement to keep you loaded dispatcher are lazy basically avoid this company bad deal.

    From what I could decipher you are saying you don't like it? They have had a bad reputation for years driver, not quite sure why you leased with a #### company in the first place.

    It is better for teams at Panther. It's a expedite company. If your solo you'll get one load a week or maybe two. I knew a guy that got hired by panther in mid January of 2017 and he quit the last week in February 2017. He was running solo getting two load a week and sitting the rest.

    I worked there before I worked for CST years ago. Only bad thing I can say is they charged me to take their logos off my truck - fine by me except we HAD to use them or pay a penalty.

    Why lease a truck if the company control you and your ability to make money. You are a company driver making the truck payment. Lease a truck only if you control how and where you run and choose your own loads. The money in expediting is with teams, the truck has to run at a moments notice and run all the time, solos cant do that. You are not the first and won't be the last. I hope you have walked away before the hole gets deeper.

    Lease Purchase is like a string man. The company can make you smile,cry,hold your head down,hold your head up they can make you lose it all. Under a lease purchase they have more control over you than company drivers. Most lease purchase are for the company to replenish fleet at 0 cost to itself. Typical lease operator" hey my truck broke down can you advance me money" Well you know I don't do that but we'll do it this time to fix "cough"our Truck. Lease Purchase is a retention tool and a stressful situation.I leased once to get a clue and being experienced owner operator it was a very slim if any profit margin. My hats off to those who hang in there to finish the term.
