TO BECOME A SCHNEIDER CARRIER, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

• Proof of insurance that meets the below requirements:
  • Minimum $100,000 cargo insurance
  • Minimum $1,000,000 auto liability
  • Insurer with B+ or better A.M Best Rating
  • Minimum of $1,000,000 Commercial General - (if required by line of business)
  • Minimum of $25,000 Trailer Interchange - (if required by line of business)
• Completed electronic Master Transportation Contract and addendum (if required by line of business)
• Completed Carrier Profile to help us understand your operational capabilities and needs
• Operating authority with the below requirements
  • Must have a valid interstate or intrastate authority (intrastate-only carrier must also have an active U.S. DOT#)
  • Must have been in business a minimum of 6 months
  • Must be Satisfactory or not rated by the DOT
  • If not rated by the DOT, will be subject to additional qualification procedures prior to activation
• Completed W-9 Form for tax purposes

 

Now that I thought on it, JB does take power only carriers, with drivers.
May look into that and not lease to JB.
