OTR companies in the Reno area

    Hello everyone

    I've been driving class B for about 7 years now I'm considering getting my class A and going OTR. This probably won't happen for a couple of years but I want to start my research now. I live in Bishop, CA and for those who dont know Bishop is in the middle of nowhere, no OTR opportunities here. The closest metropolitan areas to me are Los Angels/Inland Empire about 4 hours south and Reno/Sparks 3.5 hours north. I don't particularly wanna be anywhere near Los Angels but I'm not sure what opportunities Reno has for OTR.

    If anyone could help me with a list of OTR companies in the Greater Reno area that hire drivers with no experience I would really appreciate it

    Haven't looked into companies in Barstow? I know Yellow is there. Others???
    Might drive for the mine in Trona? Nobody wants to work there.
    You're close to Area 51. Got security clearance? :) Heard BillyBob's Alligator eatery opened a restaurant there. :)
    Seriously... Many trucks coming through Reno. Company might not be from there. But easy to get you home if you move there. Will work for many companies.

    I live in Reno. Check out ITS Logistics in Sparks(Reno) Nevada. They are a medium sized company with a nice terminal that used to be fedex.

    Bishop is the coolest town on 395 and I shop at the grocery outlet bargain market there regularly. Middle of nowhere indeed.

    Check out reno.craigslist.org/transportation. Great jobs on there.

    Reno Sparks has the biggest industrial park in the USA and the biggest factory (tesla) in the world. The jobs are abundant and the weather is oh so nice. Good luck
