Is there an additional charge for using the temporary Oregon permit vs just getting the one-year Oregon permit? I hate having to put $2k down or pay for a bond.

I think it's $9 plus you have to pay the miles you're going to run up front. I think it lasts for 10 days when you figure out when and where you're going to exit and what route you call up and have those miles added and pay for them upfront.

No additional fee, only have to pay your miles up front as stated. I posted a bond to get my annual when I had it, and after you report your miles on time for a few months you get it back. At least you used to.
