Opinions on the PX8 engine, have they worked the bugs out yet?

I am in the market for a newer dump truck chassis. Looking at the newer Pete models and many have the PX8 engine (aka cummins with black paint). I know these engines had a lot of problems when they came out, some class action suits have been filed.
Does anyone know how the 2010, 2011 & 2012 models are performing.
Do these newer models have the same issues?

Was curious about the PX line last year so inquired directly.
Take this for what its worth as it was put to me: "You ever think about taking a V8 out of an older Caddy, blowing it up to diesel and stuffing it into something that will pull 26K lbs more than once?".

Keep in mind I don't know jack, it was just something I was curious about and researched. I just don't see them holding up without a lot of issues unless they go to a dry oil sump pump which they haven't yet.
