Inferior rubber compund. We ran kellys on drives on all of our trucks. They started cracking and developing bulges on the sidewalls. We also recapped them and didnt last 6 months on flatbeds.
I would rather run a linglong recap than virgin kelly. Lol. We are now running all michelins.
I will try to post pics of rubber cracking on 1 yr old tire.snowman_w900 Thanks this. -
I have the kelly kda's over 340,000 miles so far the only problem is they bounce real bad.
-
snowman_w900 and Allan Decker Thank this.

I got 8 kda at wingfoot for 3000 dlrs its been about 20000 miles and the only bad thing I can say is that they bounce horribly when bobtailing.
-
I have ran kellys without any problems

I had a set, won't buy them again. They wore even, lasted about 330,000 miles, but they hold rocks, which end up getting driven into the belts and making the tire worth nothing as far as a casing credit.
snowman_w900 Thanks this. -
I think most Chinese tires 'v this problem with pouncing
-
Rolling resistance numbers are most important because fuel savings can be worth more than several sets of tires. I prefer Michelin tires myself.

This is a old post from last year, ended up going with the yokohama, and after a year for the price I'm extremely satisfied. I've got yoks all the way around, and I'm a satisfied customer
