I have one and I love it. I replaced the cover with smooth alm cover because I don't like the looks of diamond plate after a few winters. Plus you can use it as a step box. kinda handie as I pull a flatbed. As for parts the starter, a/c compressor, fan motor, and a/c hose can be gotten at any NAPA store. Kabota motor parts have to come from a Kabota deller.

I'm just in a company truck for now, but when I get back into my own rig in the spring I would definitely be looking for something very similar to the frigette. Since I'm going to be limited to 244" wheelbase and will be buying a 379 Pete, it makes sense to have an APU that will fit under the passenger side step box.

rig master is th ebiggest POS out there and there service centers are few and far between so plan someout of route miles for it.
the fridgette I have heard mixed reviews about. Some like it some don't but I don't know anyone who has had it long enough to really get some long term reliability facts.
How much is a Fridgette system?25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
Frigette's are around 8000.00 put on...around 7000.00 if you do it your self. In the newer model Pete's they would be real easy to mount. You can plum the AC/heater duck hose easy under the bunk with the lift up bed.

Why the 244" limitation ???

He is from Canada and with a 53 foot trailer you can only have a 245 max wheelbase. At least I think thats right.

From what I've read, that is correct.
