I'm trying to find more information on what all information you need on your truck doors if your operating under another carriers authority. Do you need all of your LLC's information and all of their companies information together? Seems like a lot of decals on a door. If anyone has a picture of what it looks like I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you

by law you only required to have the name of the carrier, city and state and usdot number.the letters and numbers have to be at least 2 inches.
-
Of both companies?
-
No just the Motor Carrier. Who owns the truck doesn't matter.
-
doesnt the name and dot number have to be the operating authority that you are running under?

Do you need the address for the company with the authority to or just the companies name, dot and mc? And am I able to add my company on the truck just to get the name out there?
-
You can put your name on it also, but do not have 2 different sets of DOT on the door
-
Just the name and DOT number. I don't think you even need the MC number.
If you put your own name on it as well as the name of the operating authority you must preceded the name of the operating authority by the words operated by.
