I've been reading these forums for a long time. Lots of great info and stories. Just thought I'd throw my company in the mix. I run linehaul for Ontrac/Express messenger. Non union, highly competitive hourly wage, benefits and I'm a name. I work out the Salt Lake City warehouse.
We are a Denver and west overnight company. I have been here for 2 years and have ZERO complaints. They require 1 year experience with ONE employer and HAZMAT/ Doubles/Triples.
Weekends/Holidays off and paid vacations...what more can I say? If you see an ad for work I'd recommend giving it a shot. I can answer questions as well.
I started at the CR England school and went thru US Xpress, May Trucking and similar outfits. I have seen my share of the doodoo. This is just my first post...I won't be a one hit wonder. I just wanted to share my good fortune so maybe others will have a chance in this declining field of work that so many of us love. Cheers.
