I have a 2010 Freightliner Century Class. What could cause the oil to spray out the top of dipstick? It has not lost oil pressure. Is there a chance of fire if my driver keeps going?

Not sure about a diesel engine ,
but if the crankcase vent on a car gets bloccked the pressure has to find a way out.
I'd look for a blocked crankcase vent ,
Something is putting excess pressure into the crankcase i am thinkingcadollar7 Thanks this. -
Thanks! I will have it checked out.

Yes, is crankcase ventilation tube plugged, kinked or piched?. If so will cause excess crankcase pressure and it will find a path too vent easiest is path is dipstick tube. He could leave the oil fill cap a little loose to vent vapors to get somewhere to get it fixed. Shouldn't shoot oil out. As it's above the oil level in the pan.

Any chance that it was OVERFILLED either by your driver topping it up or when it was last serviced ?

no it was not over filled. Still has 4,000 until his PM

As others have said, start with the vent tube. As to the other part of your question, if oil is spraying onto the exhaust manifold, the hotside of the turbo, or the first foot or so of the exhaust, yes there is a risk of fire. That exhaust is well over a thousand degrees, those type of temps plus flammable liquids equals a bad day.

Most of the newer engines have an crankcase filter , if stopped up the engine can not breathe correctly . This is most likely what is going on .

My n14 did that, I blew out some gaskets too. It was a plugged up blowby tube

I've never had oil come out of my dipstick before...you might want to have that checked out by a doctor. Sounds personal!
