O/O at XPO Expedited

What do you guys think about leasing on here? I know, it's a "mega", but right now I gotta do what I gotta do. .42-.47 cents off at TA & Petro, o/o fleet gross average was 22k last month, top guy at 36k. Sounds like something I could live with for now maybe

I just had a conversation with the guy that heads up the "Choice" program for O/O's at XPO and he said those numbers were for a solo OTR guy that likes to run, which fits my description well He said I shouldn't have a problem netting 5k a week to the house (my truck is paid for)

. Man, I really hope he's right... My business is on the brink

I had my own Authority (DoT 3555255, MC: 1192070) and was on my own doing great but stuff in my personal life forced me to suspend my authority. Doing all of the office work (accounting, safety, compliance, dispatching etc), and team driving one of the trucks caused a big strain on my relationship. So, we had to split up and I lost a bunch of money in the process of that... Not to mention all the court crap...

I will reactivate my authority and be my own guy again as soon as I can but right now I just can't do it unless I borrow money and I'm not going to. I earn it myself.

 

That's what I'm looking for and think would be the best fit for me. After being my true own boss, it'll be nearly impossible for me to answer to a dispatcher again I really miss that freedom
