What qualifies as a nursery tarp?
Is it just big see though netting?
What would I buy such a thing?

A mesh tarp is what I use. I buy mine from a nursery supply here in tn. where I live.Standard size is usually 16x55.Aywhere from $165.00 to $265.00 depending on the weight of the material. Some tarp shops make them also.

I use them hauling nursery stock, sod, trees. Made out of see-through netting.

I have mesh tarps that I use when we used to haul some sod loads. Not sure on the length but they are 16 wide. Takes two to cover a full trailer.

They work good for loads that just require a tarp to keep shrink wrap or packaging from coming off.

    SHC Thanks this.

You need to cover plants so the wind does not shred them to pieces.

Most of the time, those are used for low speed local hauls.

Sod guys wanted the mesh tarps. Regular tarps would cook the sod. Mesh tarps keep the sod from drying out to much.

I use them to haul in the spring... big trees. they aren't cheap but when the trees are running and you have them . you can make really nice money if you know the right folks.

We use them for our B&B nursery loads, a regular tarp will quickly cook a tree.
