Nu-Way Specialized Services
Please note that I am not a recruiter for NuWay but a team driver with the Specialized Services side of the company (hazmat and TWIC needed) My husband and I have been team driving with NuWay since November 3, 2014 and we are very happy with the work, the miles, the pay, the benefits and the people we work with on a day-to-day basis.
We average between 4000 to 6000 miles a week . If you like to drive, this is the company to hook up with. We have driven to CA, MN, OH, PA, NJ, MA, SC, FL, LA, TX, AZ - these are just the stops. We have driven thru almost every state.
All drop and hooks. No waiting for dock space or receivers. Only waiting you will do is at the sea ports, but normally only couple hours and Nu-Way will pay for your time.
Miles are paid ‘hub’ not practical, not miles they want to pay you. But the actual miles the wheels turn. Doesn’t matter if loaded, empty or bob-tail. You get paid all the miles the wheels turn.
Pay = .56 CPM / Per team (penny increase 6 mths, then every year)
Sign on bonus $3000
Trip Pay of $46
Driver incentives (which are extremely easy to meet) .01 / mile every qtr.
Medical is top notch. (We pay $70/week full coverage with dental and eye for both of us)
401K is matched 6% of your contribution with 3% from company (unheard of now a day)
Plus you get holiday pay on the major holidays. Even if you are driving. Really???
Every week for the 34 hour reset, Nuway pays for a hotel stay. They want you rested for the next 70 hours of driving. You are out 4 weeks, off on the 5th week for 7 days . NuWay will fly you home (on their dime) to where ever you live Most of the work comes out of Kansas then distributed throughout the United States.
Equipment is within 2 years old. Some automatics, some standards. Any issues at all, NuWay gets them fixed. All trucks have EZ pass and prepass for the scales. We have been pulled in only a handful of times and that was because their were no prepass available. But NuWay is known for keeping their equipment in order and not usually over weight, so waved on thru.
Are you ready to make some serious coin? Like driving the miles? Work with clean equipment? Only drop and hooks? Where a company actually does care about the drivers? Call our regional manager for open feedback on the job. He is not a recruiter and wants team drivers to stay, so he will not give false hopes.
