I bought a truck. It came with an NTP warranty. I was in West Texas and my turbo blew. I called around to the shops in Odessa and they were all 2-3 weeks out before they could get me in.
I called the warranty company and asked if they had any preferred shops in the area. Sure enough they did. They sent me a list of three dealers. One was Peterbilt, one was international, and one was freightliner. I have a DD15 so I went to the freightliner dealer.
Sure enough my turbo needs to be replaced. The warranty covers up to $3700. It leaves me with a balance of $2200. The warranty does state i have a $500 deductible.
How is that not fraudulent? I have warranty that covers a turbo. The truck is at their preferred dealer. Why am I on the hook for anything more than the $500 deductible? No extra work is being done. It’s not my preferred shop, it’s their preferred shop.
Of course the turbo is on national backorder. I may get the truck back before Christmas. Until then I’ll drive a Penske truck.

Also keep every receipt and make sure u are doing oil changes and getting the VIN and correct mileage on it... They can and will decline if it doesn't match up or you don't have the records
