So I am trying to get started hauling RV's, and Brown & Brown won't write me because I live in NY. I called progressive, and they gave me a quote of $80/mo for $300k of non-trucking liability, which wasn't too bad. But after I had already paid for it, they called me back and said that NY regulations require me to have my comp & collision with them as well, and they quoted me $350/mo for the package. I'm currently paying $76/mo for comp & collision with Geico, that's a HUGE jump. I need to know if anyone knows other companies that write NTL insurance for NY residents?

CCR only covers MI, IN and OH. I think I found a company though, will know tomorrow. (I called OOIDA, they couldn't write a policy for me either but sent me a referral list). I talked to my contact at Brown & Brown and they said Progressive is feeding me a line of nonsense.

There's first guard in Florida but it will be higher than what Brown & Brown does

I'm thinking about getting into rv hauling and was wondering what kind of insurance does one need to transport them?

I have been interested in hauling rv and was wondering what kind of insurance coverage would a person need?

I hauled RV's briefly for Horizon in IN in a leased (Enterprise iirc) and Horizon provided insurance while you were underway with their trailers but you had to get a policy to cover your truck when it wasn't being used by them I think that is the non trucking liability. Be careful in that business it was going good for a few months then it was flat for awhile.
