Non CDL driving jobs?

I know a guy that got a job with UPS a while back. Amazon, FedEx et al are all using non-CDL CMVs. While I know most of these jobs require a CDL, almost every mass transit company in the US is hiring. Most will train you and help you get a CDL.

 

Number of light duty towing and recovery companies don’t require a CDL.

 

Where you been guy? Haven't seen you on here in awhile.

 

Try auto parts companies, doing delivery to their commercial accounts or from the main hub store to the smaller stores. I currently work for one and we get three runs a day from the main hub store. Depending on where you’re located, they could pay a good nice hourly wage.

 

What about driving a school bus? Many employers well actually train you to get your CDL class B with a passenger endorsement same companies like greyhound or charter bus companies. Lots of opportunities out there.

 

Driving a school bus is a last resort job.

 

If near a large city could look for a courier service, or hospital courier.

 

About two years of light- and medium duty towing on the side during the pandemic, but otherwise, haven’t really been driving so I guess I kinda lost sight of the forum. Just moved back to North Carolina after 12 years in Colorado.

 

North Carolina is a good place.

Oh an far as the op goes....try craigslist. Tons of jobs there for driving with no CDL. Go uber. Or be a personal shopper. etc etc etc.

Not very hard to find a non cdl driving job. Unless your picky. Can make a ton of money in the right place doing food, shopping or even pizza. Pizza guys on my sandbar make a ton in tips.

An remember...stay away from NC. Horrible place.

Now back to my not real sandbar, and beaches we DON"T have. We also have cooties. Don't move here unless you want them.
