The ICP sensor is under the valve cover on the rail. Remove the Injection control pressure regulator and see if the screen is blown out. You may have a failed regulator. If not you may want to check pump pressure before removing the valve cover. I assume the engine builds good base oil pressure when this occured?

I just spent a good bit of time with one of those. I knew nothing and now only know somethings. One thing I learned was on U tube look for DT466 IPR valve problems? HoglundBusandTruck has some good information, it is time consuming, and educational. I worked through mine without buying any special tools. Some self education would also help you isolate, correct the problem, and or know the questions to ask people like Barrett or HeavyD.

Not building icp pressure can be a few different issues. First, engine oil runs the high pressure side. Make sure you have oil in it. Then, for what ever reason it cannot build high pressure. Either there is a massive leak, pump failure, IPR failure or simple ICP sensor failure. Most common are the connector right at the IPR. There are updates for it. Then a simple test for the ICP sensor is to simply unplug the very front valve cover pass through connector and try to start the engine. If it starts, then the sensor is bad. After that you have to dig into it to see if the pump is bad, or you have a massive leak under the valve cover.

Heavd , wondering if you are seeing many 2015 Maxx 9 or N9 { same crap} with the high pressure oil rail end plugs failing? Where the inner press in portion of the rail plug is coming out into the oil rail and breaking up and destroying injectors with metal getting stuck in spool valve portion??

Seen two in the last week, Figured I'd give you a heads up because you know how the dealer is the last to know from IH, rather then posting a note on ISIS soon as a issue comes up.

    Heavyd Thanks this.

The dealers always see the issue before IH. Then it has to be investigated and confirmed before it gets to ISIS. The first line of knowledge is usually a IKnow article. Been on both sides of that coin.
