Does anyone know where I can get a truck with a 1-2k down payment and MONTHLY payments?

Been trucking for 6 years, 3 as a company driver and 3 with a lease purchase (Schneider). I must say that in those 6 years, the best time I had was as an independent contractor. The problem was the weekly payments.

So this time around, I am looking for a truck with MONTHLY PAYMENTS. This is all I have for now...

    • 1-2K Down payment
    • Credit Score in the 600's
    • 6 yrs of trucking experience (3 yrs with lease purchase)

I've come to the conclusion that I will only work as an independent contractor. Do not want to be a company driver ever again.

So where can I get a decent, working truck? So far I'm considering:

    • Lone Mountain
    • OTR Leasing

Any other good options out there?

How about just buying a truck from a dealer? Monthly payments + freedom to work for whoever you want.

The thing is finding a dealer that accepts someone with a 1-2K down payment and 600-700 credit score.

If you can gather up 4K, Arrow will match it.

I always had to put at least $10 k down on a new truck at the Freightliner dealer, with a 780 score.

Don't want to wait to gather up the remaining 2K. It is, however, not a bad option. Just don't have the patience to wait.

Not looking for a new truck. Wish I had 10K and your credit score though.
