Get Paid for Truck Driver Training in Utah | Pride Transport
Our Full Training program is for brand new Class A CDL holders, or those drivers who have left the industry for an extended period of time and are now returning. The full program is six to eight weeks and it’s broken down into two phases.

Phase 1: During the first phase, the driver is paid $750.00 per week. The driver and the trainer are both in the front seats when the truck is moving. This first phase generally takes two weeks to complete.

Phase 2: During the second phase, the driver will engage in both solo and team driving. During this phase, the new driver will be paid $.30 cents for all miles to the truck. The new driver will be paid for all the miles they drive plus all the miles the trainer drives.

Once both phases of the Full Training are complete, the driver will be assigned to their own truck and will start being paid by the mile. Our starting pay ranges from .57 to .75 cents per mile.

All those listed so far and any others drivers post for you, apply off each individual trucking company website with the short app. Don't call first. Do those apps, then wait a couple of days to call and say, "I'm checking on my driving job application."

 

Schneider has a few things in that area, tanker side in garden city ga. Wasn’t bad years ago out of there.

If you have a house I would go class B. Propane, garbage truck, cement. If you have to go OTR with no experience right now you can expect checks under $1000 regularly and sometimes under $500. You might get lucky but it’s unlikely.

Apply to western express. They hire everyone that they are able to. Note I didn’t say work at western express. If western express doesn’t offer to hire you you’re in trouble finding anything
