I have been a refuse driver for a year now and ready to get back in Dry Van etc. I applied for NFI for the Lowe's Distribution Center in Mount Vernon Texas, since I applied NFI has called and emailed me about every day so I'm starting to wonder if they are good to work for. Any advice anyone has please let me know.

Last I heard pay was 38 cpm to run around in a day cab ....screw that !
rachi Thanks this. -
I believe NFI has cameras.
-
Well in all honesty guys I can deal with the cameras and pay as long as I can make about $550 take home a week for now because it's night's and off Thursday and Friday so I would be able to take my kids to doctors when needing check ups etc. I'm a single mom and can't go OTR again, it sucks but most places want two years tractor trailer otr and I don't have but a year and have been in a straight truck for a year.

Oh I guess I'm just wondering if the trucks are okay and higher ups are decent to work with plus how is it at the distribution center and do you load truck or unload etc

@27butterfly Ask abut accessory pay. 38 cpm might not be ideal, but throw in a decent amount to unload and you could quickly get to 12 or 13 hundred a week easily.

If you live in the Mt. Vernon area, it may be worth a shot. My buddy told me they had some dedicated home daily routes out there a few weeks ago.
Their equipment has improved, as opposed to what it was many years ago.
