hello, i installed the drivers, plugged in the usb to the laptop and its not detected.
I went to device manager nothing is added or removed when i plug it in.
im using windows 10 64 bit and tried it on a windows 7 64 bit, same results.
I used the device tester and its not detected.
Is it suppose to be plugged into the truck maybe to provide power to the nexiq unit?
i purchased the unit new and when i first used it i followed the driections and went to the nexiq website downlaoded the drivers and dont remeber having any problems.,
that laptop is no longer available.

    please help
    mack

Check the fuse for your data port.

Do you have the correct Nexiq selected in the application? It should detect the device when not connected to the truck after everything functions. You will need to hook up to a truck for device tester to work.

How long ago did you purchase? Nexiq 2 pretty sure is no longer available. Tried to order one a couple months ago and was told new replacements were no longer available.

Reach out to Nexiq support. They are usually helpful.
