So I just graduated July 25th. I have not had any luck with any jobs, if it isn't my background its always my moving violations from 2021, I'm looking for any jobs OTR, regional, even local to give me a chance or just any alternative, I feel like I wasted my time getting a cdl just for jobs to reject me anyway, I just want to work, learn and get some money, I've went through orientation processes where i would be so close, be ready for a trainer and get told i don't have the job, I'm not accepting out-of-state orientations without a background check first that's a guarantee, does anyone know of private trucking companies that are fair-chance hires or even companies that just give chances

You’re going to be in a tough spot for awhile. You might reach out to @Chinatown , he is a wealth of information.
My thoughts, maybe Western Express or CRST -
Where is your location; state & nearest town/city? OK, I see you're in Illinois, so which city/town?
The felony is no big deal, but the moving violations may be.
Describe the moving violations? -
Looks like you're in the hiring area for National Carriers. This company does, sometimes, hire a new cdl school grad.

Sigh,,
, here we go again. I suppose most of being an informational site, is tolerating the same questions,,,over and over. What I always say, doesn't go over well in this situation, and it should serve as a reminder to others, companies don't want ex-felons with bad driving records. Like hiring an airplane pilot with only "2 crashes and 8 near misses", it's unacceptable, or used to be. The blame lies on the school, and they were more interested in your money, and know full well, ex-felons with poor driving records are the least of their concerns and probably won't get hired ANYWHERE. Sorry to pee on your parade, but that's how it is in the job market today, and your case only bolsters that. All is not lost, however, you may have to go in person to some of these places, and state your case. With the lack of drivers, some fly by night company will take you on. Getting paid may be a whole 'nother thing. I know it's not what you want to hear, and many times, there is remorse for past infractions. If you only knew then how important it was to be clean for the future, you may have thought differently. I'm not tooting my horn, but I always followed the rules, had great references, and literally walked into any job, and was hired on the spot. Good luck, pal.
ducnut Thanks this. -
Depending on the felony, it could be an impediment. Research disqualifying felonies for CDL. Are you on parole? If hazmat endorsement is desired, that list will be longer(in the past it was). Don’t get wrong, I’m all for 2nd chances, just want to keep you aware.
