I want my cb radio in the cubby above my head next to the net. I don't have the holder with the holes for the mounting bracket. I can either drill me some holes through it get one but I don't know where to get that metal bracket?

It is a metal bracket that holds the cb to the plastic holder. Some of them are just for holding glasses and others are for holding your cb in place. Thx in advance

Ok I am just a little confused. Are you looking for the cb unit mounting bracket or for a spot to mount the cb?

cb mounting bracket. not a spot.
but I suppose on the dash will do as well.

The cb metal bracket will bolt to this picture above. which bolts into the cubby hole above the head.

There is a metal bracket that connects the two so the cb doesn't slip out of the slot while driving.

Should be another one behind the other plastic piece on the other side of the overhead console. If not, you can get one from your local Freightliner dealer or you can "borrow" one from a spare truck on the yard.

Ok that is what I figured but wanted to make sure. I second a freightliner dealer or a chrome shop. One piece of advice though for wiring it in. Unless there are wires there stock for it make sure to run some from the fuse box. You don't want to splice into another circuit. There is a good chance you can overload it and cause problems with your electrical that will run you way more money then having a dedicated circuit put in.
