I’ve been driving out of our Dallas terminal (Sunnyvale, Texas) for the last five years, which has been great as I live two miles away. However I’m about to move to Arkansas. We regularly run loads out of Texarkana, and my company said they’d pay for a reasonably priced secure parking spot nearby. I run Sun pm -Fri pm, so I’d need it every weekend (and obviously leave my car there during the week).

    Any suggestions or recommendations?

There's the Flying J on the Arkansas side of course, then there's an Albertsons that I see truckers park at right off of 59. There's a truck stop on the Texas side with a big lot, I can't remember what it is, maybe a Road Ranger

I need secure paid parking, I don’t know if those would satisfy my employer.

Check witg local independent truck, trailer, reefer repair places. They usually do monthly rentals for a decent price.

Try a public storage warehouse. Some of them offer truck and RV parking

Don't know if it's true but I have heard that the Fleetpride store on the eastbound service road just past Stateline Ave has some trucks that pay to park there.

Plus one on the Fleet pride or local independent mechanics, they often have a little more space available for a reasonable rate.

Just be that guy who drops their trailer wherever. Best to find someplace with signs that say no trucks or no dropped trailers if possible. And don’t kingpin lock it. Too hard to bend over and put that thing on.

You could also check with the local heavy duty tow operators there, most are willing to rent spots at a reasonable cost.

Or check with the local PD to get in touch with the tow companies, especially if they use them as impound lots. You can’t more secure than an impound lot.

Check out the local truck dealers as well, they usually rent for decent prices.
