this is on my dump truck i have the hendricks rubber block and i replaced the blocks a few years ago factory and now nee some good shock (i think) thats my problem..anyway here is what the truck is doing at 55/60 it has a bad bounce in the back the walking beam bushing look to be in good shape gonna replace them next year, but the shocks has holes in them and look to be factory aswell 1997 truck...the bed and all the stuff in the pass. seat bounce out in the floor when the bounce start if i put my foot on the clutch the bounce is still there..i had a u joint replaced last week and all others checked and are good...the carrier bearing was checked also was good,i can see in my glass that the tire looks to be bouceing back and forth but could just be the road..what do you all think it could be???? im going to replace the shocks either way but thought i would ask what else maybe the problem..its not the tires ,i have moved them around and changed rims from time to time so its not that..thanks mike

A great way to check drive tires is to put both rear axle up on jack stands. Pick all the stones out of the tires and run the truck at 20 mph or so and have some one watch the tires and make sure they are round radially. If you are certain the tires are good, then shocks are your next thing.
