2010 freightliner Columbia CL 120 vin 1FUJA6CK7ADAT2936
ISSUE : truck came in with building too much air issue , 130 + psi in the tanks both tanks .
Here is what I have done so far:
Installed a brand new secondary tank, reason was weld was leaking due to rust
Brand new Bendix AD - IS drier and governor , Governor is non adjustable! and tried different adjustable governor same issue !!
Replaced the unloaded valve on the compressor ,
Tested compressor operation , stops pumping air to the tanks when I apply shop air to the hose from the governor to compressor ,
Have no air leaks.
Any idea or direction some one can point me to?
Need help with Air compressor building too much air !

130? HA. That's good. I'll take it.
Rusted tank? Bye bye new tank please.
Call me damaged. I'll do 150 if the truck would do it. There are times near the GWB I can spend it all in a hurry. I cannot stand weak trucks that max out at 80 pounds and then drip it out....Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
I just had my Compressor replaced but my truck is only 2 years old, shop says worn bearing cost me a power steering pump, vibration snaped the shaft from power steering pump.
Another friend has his air compressor replaced and once down the road, started blowing out old air lines.. -
