I have a question. Does anyone use a Bluetooth speaker in your truck? I drive a older company truck with no option of aux in and I have to buy a new cd player and put it in, if I want a aux enabled media player. Not to mention 2 of 4 speakers are blown.

So I need to see if anyone uses a Bluetooth speaker and what brand. Not to mention does it sound as good as a stock radio? Does it drown road noise out but not to a point I can't hear if I have a problem?

Honestly I don't want to throw the money down on a jawbone or Bose speaker. I would like to keep it below 50. I can deal if its not Bluetooth and uses a 3.5mm audio jack.. But it at least needs to be wireless.. As in can be charged and runs of a battery.

So if I garbled my post but hopefully I got what I was trying to say out! Thanks!

I have an Ultimate Ears Mini Boom speaker that I use with Slacker on my cell phone. Velcroed it to the top of the dash. It sounds really good to me and will play all day on a charge. It will go louder than you will want to listen. You can control the volume with buttons on top or with your phone. I got it for $70 on sale at Best buy though so a little above your price point. I listened to the Bose and did think it sounded a bit better.....but not an extra $70 better.

Awesome. Do you drive a newer truck? I have a 97 fld that I drive and it might as well have a straight pipe on it. Then again with two blown speakers on my radio.. I can still have it louder than I need. So I'll check in to your speaker on eBay or amazon!

Yeah, sorry I was unclear. I want a Bluetooth speaker so I DONT have to buy a new cd player and speaker plus install them. Its not my truck plus they company doesn't view listening to my own music a necessity.. How dare they.. Lol!
So I need some ideas. This seems like a really good idea, I'm just on the fence about buying either a 200 dollar one or a 10 dollar one. I just want a decent speaker that I can hear over road noise and engine noise. Don't need to blow my ear drums.. Just sound good
