A couple of bottles of airline antifreeze is all you will need. I properly serviced air dryer and air system should handle all your issues without using airline antifreeze...not to mention airline antifreeze is not recommended on almost all the modern air systems.

As for the anti-gel...good tank heaters will help more than any fuel treat. But i have used Howes in the past, but it seemed to have less and less effect since the ULSD has been introduced. Powerserv is another decent one. This winter I will be trying out some of Schaeffers winter fuel treat.

Agreed, the only time I've seen a real need for it is if the air dryer isn't working right or hasn't been serviced properly. Or if you don't pull the same trailer all the time. Nothing like getting a trailer that someones truck filled with moisture on a cold day.

Penray Winter power plus is excellent anti gel. have used it for over 10 yrs.has never failed me. not in t-stops. Freightliner dealers usually carry it and parts houses too.
1 qt treats 250 gal about 9.00 ea. any FPPF products are also very good. Power service and Howes are expensive and dont work well with low sulfur fuels. junk in my opinion. airline antifreeze is not recommended in new systems. if you must use it then only a capfull. a pint should last many winters.

like others have said, if you air dryer system is working properly, there is no need for air line antifreeze.
I've had good luck with both Power Service and Howe's. With 300 gal capacity, the Howe's is sometimes a better deal. But read the labels, if it is colder than 25 below it is colder than it says it will work and be guaranteed. I never had trouble with fuel until the past coupe of winters with the low and ultra low sulfur fuels. Now these are a necessity.

For preventing your fuel from gelling, your best bet is mixing with #1.

Power service and the others wont do dick with this ultra low sulpher juice today.
