I wanted to drive fuel tankers for Pilot / Flying J. They said it was fine I didn’t have tanker experience, but they said I need 6 months experience driving doubles or triple trailers.
Does anyone know a company that’ll train me with doubles or triples that has Salt Lake City in their hiring area? I have 5 years experience with single 53 foot reefer and dry van trailers.
(I already have the doubles, triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements on my CDL that I’ll need.)

Class A CDL with Tanker and Doubles & Triples endorsements required. Utilize the Class A CDL, Tanker, and Double & Triples Endorsements to locally transport...

Check "Indeed" website. Put "Class A tanker driver" and "Salt Lake City,UT"

If you're looking to gain experience with doubles, try looking into any of the LTL Companies (ODFL, UPSF, YRC, FXF, XPO, ABF, R+L, USF Holland and Reddeway, Saia, etc.) around your area and look specifically for the position that is listed as Road Driver or Linehaul. Estes tends to list it as Regional Driver. Or you can also try UPS Parcel (if you can get in) and Fed Ex Ground.

You can also try Franz Bakery if there's a location near you. Shaw and Mohawk Flooring. Goya Foods. Black Horse Carriers. And Foodservice shuttle driver like Sysco, US Foods, PFG, Ferraro Foods, GFS, etc. Frito Lay tends to have turnpike doubles, which you'll need a LCV permit.

If you don’t mind teaming, the easiest and fastest way to get that experience is to get hired on with the FedEx ground contractor or Navajo

Yes, Navajo has some doubles. Really nice trucks too.
@Snowshoes probably knows some good outfits that pull double/triples.

Why in the hell would a company that doesn’t pull doubles or triples and probably never will want you to have experience pulling doubles and triples? Yet, they’re fine with you not having tanker experience when what they haul is tankers.

Sounds like a real winner doing the hiring over there at pilot/J...
