I don't know anything about the Delta Force.,and my opinion is a bit outdated as I have been out of the military for...OMG...30 YRS....But when I was active,I was in the 82nd Airborne Division (Light Infantry) with an invite to attend Ranger School.,which I declined cause I was in love with this young woman an.....OK,OK...different story, anyway, when I was in,we were taught the pecking order,(loosely) went like this: The best all-around bad-a#ses-Navy Seals..the unquestioned Kings of Bad...2.Toss up between Army Rangers & Marine Recon... 3.Army Special Forces (Green Berets)...............I am sure that is different now....But,every branch.,and every unit of every branch.,when ALL working together....well,it scares the livin sheeat out of me.....and THIS Force IS ON my SIDE....:biggrin_255: :biggrin_255:

Yeah, but the government never officially admitted Delta Force exists...

I hear Delta Force Commandos are such bada**es, when they donate blood they refuse the syringe and ask for a handgun and a bucket.

And since the "government" knows,we know, about Delta Force.,perhaps Delta Force,is just a smokescreen,to hide some other elite "Force." May the force be with you...:biggrin_2559:

    U4EA Thanks this.

Delta Force is more elite than SEALS, Green Berets, AF combat air controllers, etc. Most come from the Special Forces, but now days they are accepted from other branches. My base is Special Opps task force command for SE Afghanistan. They coordinate the interaction of all the special operators in the US military. Now days there is a thin line between all the services and they are constantly working together as the mission calls for. Special Forces have run it for last 9 months. SEALS are coming in now to run SOTF for 1st time. Seem like same extremely competent type as Green Berets. All are great men and love to flick BS at anyone who gives them any. I do everyday. All the military are great folks , but these special operators are a cut above and it shows. I will probably spend another yr here as I really enjoy being around them. No whining. No excuses. Just find a way to get the job done. Old school and I love it.

Marine Corps Force Recon has never been part of the United States Special Ops Command, their missions slightly differentiate itself aside from other United States Special Operations Forces units. Basically, they are specialized in all tactical areas such as Navy Seals, Army Rangers, and Air Force Para-rescue, training with each of these forces to master all skill sets. The Marine Corps trains a more versatile man rather than specialists in individual areas of combat.

    Hoo Rah!
